Trinity Women's Soccer Team Ranked No. 1 in the Nation

KANSAS CITY, Kan. - After a dominating win over the College of St. Scholastica, the Trinity University women's soccer team took the No. 1 spot in the National Soccer Coaches Association of America (NSCAA)/Continental Tire Division III Women's Top 25 poll. Complete Poll

Trinity was ranked second in the 2014 NSCAA Preseason poll.

The Tigers won their home opener this weekend, beating St. Scholastica 7-1 with the help of four first half, two from All-American Emily Jorgens and one apiece for fellow All-American Kelsey Falcone and Colleen Markey – both assisted by Jorgens. All of the second half action came from Tiger newcomers, with goals from Hannah Booher, Abby Tisdale and Ruby Tedeschi.

The Tigers will continue the season with a trip to Georgia, beginning this weekend at Emory University on Friday, September 5 before heading to Berry College on Sunday, September 7.
