The HSU Cowboys marked the first goal of the game in the 22nd minute, but first-year Tiger Daniel Ruano put in the equalizer before the half off of an assist from Murray Fraser. This is just Ruano's second goal of the season, his other came against Austin College in September. Fraser's assist was his fifth of the year.

Neither team was able to put a goal through the remainder of the first half, but with just 23 seconds left on the clock, senior Victor Araujo notched his ninth goal of the season to give Trinity the win.

The Tigers will take on the Comets of UT-Dallas tomorrow, the only team that has been able to earn a win against this dominant Trinity team. The last time the two teams met, Goncalo Santana gave the Tigers a 1-0 lead in the eighteenth minute, but UTD scored two second half goals to come out with the win. Trinity outshot the Comets 13-9, but only notched one more shot on goal.  Since the loss, the Tigers have won 20 games straight and have marked the nation's second-best offense, averaging 3.59 goals per game.
