Trinity Remains at No. 3 in NSCAA Poll

KANSAS CITY, Kan. – The Trinity University Tigers remain in the No. 3 spot on the National Soccer Coaches Association of America (NSCAA)/Continental Tire Division III Top 25 Poll after the sixth week of play. Complete Poll

The top spots in the poll continue to remain unchanged, as Trinity holds on to the third spot for the fourth week in a row, and hold onto the top spot in the West Regional Poll. The Tigers are also ranked No. 5 by D3Soccer.com for the third week in a row. Complete Poll

Trinity defeated Centenary College and Southwestern University this week, 8-0 and 4-0, respectively. The Tigers held their opponents to just three shots between both games, while marking their seventh consecutive shutout and extending their conference unbeaten streak to 54 games, dating back to 2008.

Through the two games, Kelsey Falcone, Maggie Olvera, Julia Camp, Hannah Kuhl and Allison Carter each marked two goals, while Yasmeen Farra and Tierney Thompson added one apiece. The Tigers were able to put up 44 shots against the Centenary Ladies while not allowing a single shot from the opposition.

The Tigers remain at the top of the SCAC standings with a perfect 6-0-0 record in conference play. They will Travel to Shreveport, La. to face Centenary College Friday for their next match.
