MINNEAPOLIS, Minn. - For the second time this season, Austin College football player Kyle Crawford has been selected to the D3Football.com National Team of the Week for his outstanding performance in a win over Southwestern University on Saturday.
Crawford, a senior tight end from Rockwall, caught four passes for 120 yards, an average of 30.0 yards-per-catch, including a 50 yard reception and a 44 yard touchdown catch. Crawford continued to build on his Southern Collegiate Athletic Conference-leading reception numbers, including 36 receptions for 593 yards. Crawford is also pulling in a conference-best 74.1 yards-per-catch and is third in the SCAC with four touchdown catches.
Crawford was earlier honored as a member of the D3Football.com National Team of the Week after a big performance against East Texas Baptist in September.
