SCAC Releases 2015 All-Conference Men's Track & Field Team

LAWRENCEVILLE, Ga. - Based on the results of the 2015 SCAC Men's Track & Field Championships, which were held this past weekend at Trinity University, the conference office today released the All-SCAC Men's Track & Field team. Complete All-SCAC Listing

Trinity University won the men's team championship for the third straight year.

To earn All-SCAC honors, a student-athlete had to finish in the top three in any individual event and/or be a part of a top three relay team at the conference championship meet.

Marquis Brown of Texas Lutheran University (pictured), the 2015 SCAC Track & Field Male Athlete of the Meet, highlights the team after posting two individual wins (the 200 and 400 meters) as well as performing on the Bulldog's first place 4x100 relay and second place 4x400 relay teams.

Trinity University's Taylor Piske was also a two-time winner, taking first-place honors in both the 5,000 and 10,000 meters. 

Trinity's Louie Montoto was a three-time individual All-SCAC recepient - placing first in the high jump, second in the triple jump and third in the long jump.

Alejandro Brieseno, Texas Lutheran (first place - shot put; third place - hammer throw)
Christopher Frank, Texas Lutheran (third place - high jump; third place - 110 hurdles)
Graham Frank, Colorado College (second place - 1,500 meters; second place - 5,000 meters)
Jonathan Hilman, Texas Lutheran (first place - 110 hurdles; second place - 400 hurdles)
Mike McIntosh, Trinity (second place - 400 meters; third place - triple jump)
Miro Ronac Giannone, Trinity (first place - javelin; second place - pole vault)
Adam Saunders, Trinity (third place - 100 meters; third place - 200 meters)
Darian Sommers, Trinity (first place - 400 hurdles; second place - 110 hurdles)
