Jorgens is also a two-time Capital One Academic All-American of the Year and was named an NSCAA All-American earlier this month. Jorgens finished her career at Trinity with her name all over the record book, breaking the records for total goals in a season, assists in a single game, single season and career, and points in a single season and career. She is also tied for the NCAA record for total assists in a season (30) during the 2013 season. In her senior season, she scored 19 goals and dished out 27 assists for 65 points.
Falcone, a biology and communications major from San Antonio, Texas, received the honor for the second time in her career after earning a 3.63 GPA. Falcone finished her career with 54 total goals and 43 assists for 151 points. This ranks second in the Trinity record book, behind Jorgens.
Peddicord, a geosciences major from Houston, Texas, earned first-team honors with a 3.55 GPA. Peddicord played and started in 24 games for the Tigers this season, helping to lead the nation’s fourth-ranked defense to their sixth consecutive SCAC championship and the round of 16 in the NCAA tournament. Peddicord also added three goals and three assists to the offense. Earlier this season, Peddicord earned a spot on the NSCAA All-West Region First Team as well as the All-SCAC First Team.
Hopkins, an engineering sciences major from Albuquerque, N.M., managed an impressive 3.60 GPA for a spot on the all-region first team.
