SKILLMAN, N.J. – The Trinity Tigers continue to remain the seventh-ranked team in the nation in the latest Intercollegiate Tennis Association rankings.
The Tigers earned their 20th Southern Collegiate Athletic Conference Championship last week, defeating Southwestern University 5-0 in the final match of the weekend.
Trinity posted a record 16-6 through the season, ending the season on a five-match winning streak.
In the west region, the Tigers are ranked No. 4 and are joined by two other SCAC schools, Southwestern and Texas Lutheran University. The SU Pirates come in at No. 15 in the region, while TLU rounds out the rankings in No. 20.
Southwestern took second in the SCAC tournament, while Texas Lutheran defeated Schreiner University to take third place at the event.
Trinity’s Adam Krull is the second-ranked singles player in the West region, followed by teammates Aaron Skinner and Jordan Mayer, ranked 12th and 18th, respectively. Nike Snovely of Southwestern is also ranked individually, coming in at No. 23.
