Trinity Women's Soccer Team Remains at No. 3 in NSCAA Poll

KANSAS CITY, Kan. – The Trinity University women’s soccer team (7-0-1) remains in the No. 3 spot in the National Soccer Coaches Association of American (NSCAA)/Continental Tire Division III Top 25 Poll in the fourth week. The Tigers are also at the top of the West Regional poll. Complete Poll

The top three spots in the national poll remain unchanged as Washington University (Mo.) holds on to the top spot.

In the D3Soccer.com Top 25 poll, the Tigers moved one spot from No. 6 to No. 5 this week. Complete Poll

Trinity University began conference play this week, recording two shut outs against Austin College and the University of Dallas. The Tigers also swept the SCAC Player of the Week awards with Julia Camp taking the offensive title after scoring a goal in each game this weekend, including the game-winner against Dallas. The defensive player of the week was Kirby Peddicord who led the Trinity defense and held their opponents to just four total shots over the two games.

The Tigers will take on the University of Mary Hardin-Baylor Tuesday evening at home before hosting conference opponents Schreiner University and Texas Lutheran University this weekend.
