OLIVIA KIM AND RUTH HILL OF TRINITY UNIVERSITY, have been selected as the SCAC Women’s Doubles Team of the Week for matches played from Monday, April 10 to Sunday, April 16. SCAC Women's Tennis Weekly Report - Week 11
Kim, a sophomore from Phoenix, Ariz., and Hill, a sophomore from Abilene, Texas, teamed up to lead the 14th-ranked Tiger women's tennis team to a 5-4 road win over No. 19 Washington (Mo.) University over the weekend. Hill and Kim scored an 8-6 win at the top line of doubles to give Trinity a much-needed 2-1 advantage heading into the singles competition. The doubles partners have won six consecutive matches and stand 12-3 on the year.
Other Outstanding Performances in the SCAC:
Sophomore Erika Synoski and senior Emma Kesterson of Southwestern breezed to an 8-1 win over CC's top line of Maddy Meister and Magdalene Gonzales on Thursday. Junior Hannah Reyna and senior Victoria Morales of Schreiner went 1-0 in their only competition of the week, defeating the top-line doubles squad from Austin College.
