SEAN MAJORS OF TRINITY UNIVERSITY, a senior from Fredericksburg, Texas, has been selected the SCAC Men’s Field Athlete of the Week for meets held from Monday, March 14 through Sunday, March 20. (SCAC Track & Field Weekly Release - Week 3)
Majors jumped a new personal best of 7.47m in the long jump at the Wes Kittley Invitational. This placed him second at the meet overall, and also broke his school record and is ranked first in the country for Division III.
Other Outstanding Performances in the SCAC:
Sophomore Bryce McIntyre of St. Thomas continued to show his long jump ability, finishing in third place with a leap of 6.61m at the Ross and Sharon Irwin Invitational.
