LAWRENCEVILLE, Ga. -- After earning titles in 13 of the league's 19 officially sponsored sports, Trinity University cruised to its record 10th straight Southern Athletic Conference Presidents' Trophy crown. Final Results
It is the 21st overall all-sports crown for the institution - also a conference record.
The Tigers finished with 640 total points and defeated second-place Southwestern University, who totaled 485 points, by 155 points, the third-largest margin of victory in the 59-year history of the award.
In a season like no other, when all 19 conference championships were decided over a three-month period, Trinity marched home with championships in the individual sports of women's cross country, men's swimming & diving, women's swimming & diving, men's golf, women's golf, men's tennis, men's track & field and women's track & field. Additionally, the Tigers finished atop the regular season standings in the team sports of men's basketball, women's basketball, men's soccer, women's soccer and baseball.
