BEN HANLEY OF TRINITY UNIVERSITY, a junior guard from Flower Mound, Texas, has been named SCAC Men’s Basketball Player-of-the-Week for games played from Friday, February 12 through Saturday, February 13.
Hanley posted nearly his entire stat line in the first half of Saturday’s 89-66 victory over Austin College, scoring all 16 of his points and grabbing eight of his team-high nine rebounds before intermission. Hanley’s points, rebounds, and assists (4) were all personal season-highs as well.
Other impressive performances in the SCAC:
Senior forward Caleb Lister of Texas Lutheran led TLU to a 1-1 split with St. Thomas over the weekend. In the 64-55 win on Saturday, Lister scored 22 and went 8-for-9 from the free throw line. In Friday’s loss, he grabbed 11 rebounds and scored eight.
