Green led the charge for the Tigers last week, averaging 22.0 points, 2.3 assists, 12.0 rebounds and 2.3 steals per game. He led the Tigers to a perfect 3-0 record, including a pair of road SCAC wins to open up league play. Green recorded two double-doubles, 20 points and 15 rebounds against Mary Hardin-Baylor, and 24 points and 12 rebounds against Southwestern in his conference debut last Friday. He scored in double-figures in all three games, including three consecutive 20-plus point efforts ending the weekend with 22 points against Texas Lutheran. Green connected on 57.9 percent from the charity stripe, knocking down 11-of-19 trips to the line and 100 percent from three in his single attempt beyond the arc.

Other outstanding performances in the SCAC:
Senior forward Seth Thomas of Centenary averaged 25.3 points, 6.0 rebounds and 2.3 assists per game last week for the Gents. Thomas is averaging over 10 points-per-game for nine consecutive games. In their lone win against Dallas he put up a career-high 34 points, shooting 69.2 percent on 9-of-13 from the field, including 75.0 percent (3-for-4) from beyond the arc. Junior guard Calvin Williams IV of St. Thomas led the Celts as they split their two-game weekend. Williams IV was in double-figures in both contests, highlighted by a career-high 36 points in a loss to Dallas on Friday night. He finished with 26.0 points, 5.5 rebounds and 1.0 steal per game, alongside going 83.3 percent from the charity stripe (10-for-12). Sophomore guard Kidus Getenet of Austin College led the ‘Roos last week, scoring in double figures in both contests, highlighted by 26 points in their lone victory against the Centenary. Getenet averaged 21.0 points, 4.0 rebounds and 0.5 steals per game while shooting 66.7 percent from the field. Senior guard Xavier Phillips of Texas Lutheran led the Bulldogs, shooting 45.8 percent from the field and was 5-of-7 from the stripe, while averaging 17.0 points per night.
