WILSON HAMILTON AND CAMERON KRIMBILL OF TRINITY UNIVERSITY, have been named the SCAC Men’s Doubles Team of the Week for matches played from Monday, February 1 through Sunday, February 7.
Wilson, a senior from Austin Texas and Krimbill, a senior from Scottsdale, Ariz. went 2-1 at No. 2 doubles over the weekend, leading the Tiger men’s tennis team to two Div. III wins and a loss to Div. I Abilene Christian University. Hamilton and Krimbill earned a pair of 8-2 wins over Hardin-Simmons and McMurry to start the weekend, then lost a tough 6-3 decision against ACU.
Other Outstanding Performances in the SCAC:
Junior Carlos Esteban and sophomore Drew Shuvalov of Southwestern helped the Pirates to a 9-0 team victory last weekend against conference opponent St. Thomas. Esteban and Shuvalov, playing at the top doubles line earned a 8-4 victory.
