MINNEAPOLIS, Minn. - Trinity University's Enzo Sechi was recognized by D3hoops.com Tuesday as the website released the 2021-22 All-South Region teams. A First Team selection, Sechi was the only SCAC men's player to earn All-Region honors.
The All-SCAC First-Teamer was the nightly anchor of the Trinity offense this season scoring a team-high 14.4 points per game (16.2 per SCAC game), with all but three appearances in double-figures on the campaign.
The Houston-native put together a trio of 20-plus point games as the centerpiece to a three-option offense over the year, including a career-high 33-point double-double in the December 4 overtime victory, 95-84, at Schreiner University, a victory that proved crucial come February. He was awarded one of his two SCAC Player of the Week honors for that performance.
