KENDAL SOUTHWELL OF TRINITY UNIVERSITY, a sophomore from Rio Rancho, N.M., has been selected the SCAC Men’s Swimmer of the Week for performances during meets swam Monday, October 25 to Sunday, October 31. SCAC Swimming & Diving Release (Week 3)

Southwell swam breaststroke on the winning relay team in Saturday's dual victory over UT-Permian Basin. The sophomore also won the 100 yard breaststroke with a time of 1:00.35, and raced to a time of 2:12.26 to finish first in the 200 yard breaststroke.

Other Outstanding Performances in the SCAC:
First-year Ethan Spillers of University of the Ozarks swam the fly leg (54.74) of the 400 Medley relay, leading the Eagles to victory over Austin College at the Hendrix Relays. At the Hendrix Classic the following day, Spillers took first place over both Hendrix and Austin in the 200 IM (2:06.26), and took second place in the 100 freestyle against both teams (50.38). He also led the 400 freestyle relay to a second place finish against Austin College. Senior Mitchell Lulich of Centenary had a great meet in the dual against McMurry, winning both the 200 breaststroke (2:25.04) and the 200 IM (2:21.62). First-yaer Matthew Schloz of McMurry finished first in the 200 free (1:57.29) in Saturday's dual against Centenary, and also earned a top finish in the 500 free (5:26.84). He was second in the 200 fly in 2:14.22.
