JORDAN PITTS AND WILSON HAMILTON OF TRINITY UNIVERSITY, have been named the SCAC Men’s Doubles Team of the Week for matches played from Monday, April 12 through Sunday, April 18.
Pitts, a senior from Austin, Texas and Hamilton, a senior from Lake Travis, Texas, prevented the doubles sweep at the hands of Southwestern in the battle of SCAC contenders last weekend with an intense 8-7 (7-3) win at the No. 3 line that kick-started the Tigers' momentum en route to a singles sweep and a 7-2 victory in league play over the previously-unbeaten Pirates. The partners also snatched a pair of sets from line three against NCAA I #47 Southern Methodist on Sunday.
Other Outstanding Performances in the SCAC:
Drew Shuvalov and Carlos Esteban Rodero of Southwestern, scored an 8-6 doubles win over Trinity's Christian Settles and Hao Nguyen in the No. 1 position to improve to 4-1 as a team over SCAC opponents.
