Eight SCAC Men's Golfers Named GCAA All-America Scholars

NORMAN, Okla. – The Golf Coaches Association of America (GCAA) released the NCAA Division III Srixon/Cleveland Golf All-America Scholars on Tuesday, August 3, and eight Southern Collegiate Athletic Conference (SCAC) individuals were selected as honorees.

Texas Lutheran and Trinity each placed four student-athletes on the list. Seniors Cameron Carter, Nathan Haley and Matthew McArthur, along with junior Chase Maus represented TLU, while Trinity netted senior Bryce Pidgeon and sophomores Zac Bunder, Daniel Nunez and Holden Wisener.

To be eligible for Srixon/Cleveland Golf All-America Scholar status, an individual must be a sophomore, junior, or senior academically in addition to posting a stroke average under 79.0 as a Division III player average while competing in at least 40 percent of the team's competitive rounds, and maintain a minimum 3.2 cumulative grade point average.
