Cushing, a junior from Colleyville, Texas, and Levy, a first-year from Camarillo, Calif., produced back-to-back 8-1 victories in Saturday's start to the 2023 SCAC regular-season schedule. The duo, currently ranked 16th in the nation, is 12-3 against NCAA III opponents since joining forces ahead of the fall tournament slate, including a perfect 4-0 to open this spring's dual-match action.
Other Outstanding Performances in the SCAC:
Senior Blair Drought-Villarreal and junior Hannah Reyna of Schreiner posted a 2-0 week, picking up victories at No. 1 doubles over Addy Seward and Bailey Smith of East Texas Baptist, 8-2, and Brandy Weems and Emma Boulanger of LeTourneau, 8-4.
