HUNTER BAJOIT AND VESKO LEKOVIC OF SOUTHWESTERN UNIVERSITY, have been named the SCAC Men’s Doubles Team of the Week for matches played from Monday, March 8 through Sunday, March 14.
Bajoit, a junior from The Woodlands, Texas and Lekovic, a junior from Houston, Texas, defeated NCAA Division I Prairie View A&M's Rodrigo Yoshikata and Kevin Ugartech, 8-4, in No. 2 doubles in the duo's only match of the week.
Other Outstanding Performances in the SCAC:
Alessio Azzalini and Cameron Krimbill of Trinity made their debut as a unit at line two last weekend, collecting a shutout, 8-0, in the Tigers' 9-0 victory over Texas Lutheran in their SCAC-opener before having to drop the rackets in a 5-4 second-line matchup with NCAA I Rice University on Saturday. Juanrodrigo Lopez and Jace Ware of St. Thomas picked up a victory at No. 2 doubles against LeTourneau's Rodrigo Vazquez and Nathan Schmidt, 8-2.
