Senior defender Grace Singleton of McMurry anchored a War Hawk defense that allowed just 12 shots and one goal over two SCAC tilts last week, including a 2-0 shutout win over previously unbeaten St. Thomas. First year defender Jayden Vazquez of Ozarks made three starts last week for the Eagles, leading the defensive effort and also jumped in offensively, scoring the key equalizing goal in a 2-2 draw against Dallas. Senior defender Chloe Mills of Schreiner started both fixtures and played all 180 minutes in a pair of SCAC contests last week, anchoring the Mountaineers defensive effort. First year goalkeeper Karen Oviedo of St. Thomas finished with five saves last week in net for the Celts, including a 3-0 shutout win over Ozarks last Monday.
