Colorado College leads the team standings with 697 points followed by Trinity with 692 points. The two previous closest championship finishes on the men's side occured in 2001 when Trinity hold off DePauw University, 944.5 to 934, to earn the program's second title in three years, and then in 2017, Trinity nipped Southwestern 882.5 to 877 in the tightest finish in league history.

History is also on the line for the CC Tigers as they seek the program's first-ever conference men's swimming and diving title after five runner-up finishes, including each of the last three years. On the other side of the coin, Trinity is seeking its sixth straight men's title and 17th overall.

During the afternoon diving session, Aidan Richter of Colorado College outbattled his teammate, Wyatt Wellehan, to earn his first career diving title, taking top billing on the 1-meter board with a score of 477.0 points. Richter took over the top spon on the scoreboard after the sixth round and never let go, finally breaking through for diving gold after five career runner-up finishes on the both boards, including two silver performances on the 1-meter (2022 and 2023). Richter is the third CC diver to earn a victory in the event, following Austin Howlett (2013-2015) and Wellehan (2024), who finished runner-up this year with a score of 455.20 points. Both Richter and Wellehan posted NCAA 'B' cut scores. Rounding out the top three was Max Rolla-Mullis of Trinity who recorded a score of 369,90 points. 1-Meter Interview

After six total runner-up finishes over the years, including each of the last two seasons, the quartet of Liam McCarthy, Step Flanagan, Jack Hussin and Caleb Peimann got the CC Tigers off the schneid with a gold medal performance, touching first in 1:22.79 - the eighth-fastest time in conference meet history. Trinity's Will Walker earned his first career individual win with a victory in the 100-yard butterfly after he clocked a winning time of 50.02. The victory marked the fourth straight year a Trinity swimmer had taken top honors in the event after former teammate Michael Kohl dominated with three straight wins from 2022 to 2024. For the second consecutive year, Trinity's Trace Briones finished second, this year in a time of 50.07. Colorado College's Tomas Gonzalez was third, tallying a time of 50.66. 100-yard Butterfly Interview

The 400-yard IM saw Trinity's John Key become just the fourth swimmer in league history to three-peat in the event and the first since Trinity's Jacob Hurrell-Zitelman won the 400 IM three consecutive years from 2017 to 2019. Key touched first in 4:01.07, the second-fastest time in the history of the event and just off his record-setting time of 4:00.60 from a year ago. TU Tigers swept the all-conference positions as teammates Ryan O'Leary (4:02.00) and Grant Bibza (4:02.37) finished second and third, posting the third- and fifth-fastest times in the history of the event. The trio also made history as just the second set of teammates to have finished 1-2-3 in the 400 IM at the conference meet (DePauw accomplished the feat at the 2007 championship). 400-Yard IM Interview

For the second consecutive night, Trinity's Luke Fender torched a conference championship meet record, this time knocking off the league's all-time mark in the 200 freestyle. Fender reached the wall first in a time of 1:37.99, establishing an NCAA 'B' cut and breaking the former mark of 1:38.30 which was set a year ago by former TU Tiger Nathan Early. He also became just the fifth swimmer in league history to win the 500 free and 200 free at the same championship and the first since TU's Andrew Battles in 2011. Trinity's Nate Perez, who finished third in the event a year ago, improved to second with a time of 1:41.10 and Colorado College's Jack Hussin took third in 1:41.53. 200-Yard Freestyle Interview

Colgan, who won the 200 IM on Thursday, touched first in a time of 54.77 while establishing both a new SCAC championship and open mark and an NCAA 'B' cut. He became the fourth different CC swimmer to win the event and fifth swimmer in league history to win both the 200 IM and 100 breast at the same championship. Ralston, who had won the 100 breast in both 2022 and 2024, settled for second with an NCAA 'B' cut time of 55.05.
