Other outstanding performances in the SCAC:
Sophomore goalkeeper Zoe Keller of Centenary recorded her first career shutout in the Ladies’ 1-0 win over Wiley on Sunday. Keller registered four saves to preserve the clean sheet and the team victory. Senior defender Lilly Van Meter of Southwestern found the back of the net, her first goal of the season in the 42nd minute, securing a 2-0 shutout victory over East Texas Baptist last Friday. Van Meter and the Pirates defense limited ETBU to just 11 shots and secured the team’s second shutout of the season. First year defender Kylie Harris of Trinity led the Tigers to a weekend split on the road in Virginia, losing to No. 5 Christopher Newport, but shutting out Virginia Wesleyan on Sunday. Harris and the Tiger defense recorded the sixth shutout in seven games this season to beat Virginia Wesleyan 1-0 on Sunday.
