First year right hander Trysten Liesman of Schreiner picked up a pair of key wins in the circle for the Mountaineers against Centenary last weekend. So went the distance in both wins tossing complete games, scattering 16 hits over 14 innings of work, striking out eight and posting a 3.00 ERA. Graduate pitcher Bailey Tisdale of St. Thomas picked up the win for the Celts against Texas Lutheran on the road in the series opener last Friday. She allowed just four hits and allowed two earned runs in seven innings of work to hand TLU its first home SCAC loss since 2014. Senior Amanda White of Texas Lutheran tossed a complete game only allowing one unearned run on four hits, striking out five batters to pick up the win in game two of Friday’s doubleheader against St. Thomas.
