BAILEY TISDALE OF UNIVERSITY OF ST. THOAMS, a graduate student left-hander from Santa Fe, Texas, has been named the SCAC Softball Pitcher-of-the-Week for games played from Monday, April 10 through Sunday, April 16. SCAC Softball Release - Week 10

Sophomore pitcher Anna Scarbrock of Centenary pitched her team-high ninth complete game of the season on Friday in the Ladies’ series opener at home against Austin College. Scarbrock (7-8) got the win as she held the ‘Roos to just three hits and two runs, one earned, with two walks and six strikeouts in her seven innings of work. Senior pitcher Ashlyn Strother of Texas Lutheran continues to be dominant in the circle for the Bulldogs, tossing eight shutout innings in two appearances last weekend; only allowing two hits and three walks on the weekend while striking out 14. Strother maintained a no-hitter through 5.2 innings on Saturday.
