MEGAN FLORES AND CATE CUSHING OF TRINITY UNIVERSITY, have been selected as the SCAC Women’s Doubles Team of the Week for matched played from Monday, April 4 to Sunday, April 10. (SCAC Women's Tennis Weekly Report - Week 10)
Flores, a senior from Houston, Texas, and Cushing, a sophomore from Colleyville, Texas, put together a 2-0 weekend at the No. 1 line that included their third victory in SCAC play this season at Austin College Saturday, and an 8-7 (7-2) victory against the West Region's 12th-ranked pair at No. 29 University of Texas-Dallas on Sunday.
Other Outstanding Performances in the SCAC:
Junior Nina Mitrofanova and first-year Lydia Lee of Southwestern posted a 2-0 record at No. 1 doubles, defeating Texas Lutheran's Elena Brancaleon and Paula Acosta, 8-0, and St. Thomas's Anamaria Gonzalez and Alejandra Lopez, 8-3.
