Hill showed absolute dominance on her way to helping the Tigers secure two more 7-0 victories on the weekend. Playing at line one, Hill took her conference match against Concordia (Texas) 6-0, 6-1, and against UMHB, again in line one, she put together another strong performance, winning 6-1 in both sets. Over the past three years, no Texas NCAA III singles player has taken a set off of her.
Other Outstanding Performances in the SCAC:
Freshman Hannah Snyder of St. Thomas powered through her match against LeTourneau's Emmy Phillips, earning the 6-3, 6-2 victory on the No. 6 line. Her poised and controlled play allowed her to dominate from start to finish, as the Celts earned the spring season-opening 5-2 win. First-year Lucia Moravek of Colorado College won the No. 4 singles match, 6-1, 6-2, over Elena Oborocea in the Tigers' 4-3 victory over Seward County Community College on Saturday.
