Sanchez was dominant in a pair of singles matches to help lead the Tornados to a pair of victories in the team's opening weekend. The freshman cruised to a 6-0, 6-0 sweep on court three to help CTX earn a 7-0 win over the University of Dallas. She then earned a crucial 6-3, 6-1 triumph on court four to help clinch a 4-3 victory over Lewis & Clark on Sunday.
Other Outstanding Performances in the SCAC:
First-year Lucy Nabedrick of Trinity led the 14th-ranked women's tennis team to a 7-0 shutout victory over Lewis & Clark in the 2025 season opener on Saturday. Nabedrick earned a 6-1, 6-1 straight-set victory at line four singles to clinch the match for the Tigers.
