CATE CUSHING AND TRINITY LEVY OF TRINITY UNIVERSITY, have been selected as the SCAC Women’s Doubles Team of the Week for matches played from Monday, March 11 to Sunday, March 17. It is the third consecutive week the duo have earned the honor. SCAC Women's Tennis Release (Week 7)
Cushing, a senior from Colleyville, Texas, and Levy, a sophomore from Camarillo, Calif., led the 16th-ranked Tiger women's tennis team to a 2-2 record last week, with the only losses coming to teams ranked in the top five nationally. Trinity's line two doubles duo was edged 8-6 against #2 Chicago, then came back with 8-4 wins over both #31 Skidmore and #22 Swarthmore later in the week, before finishing with an 8-5 loss against #5 Wesleyan (CT).
