Meyer and the backline combined to shut out Austin College and Dallas over the weekend to remain unblemished in conference play. The Tigers have now gone five-straight games without allowing a goal and remain unscored upon in league play. Meyer even managed to score a goal in the 8-0 over Austin and logged 145 minutes on the weekend.
Junior goalkeeper Johnna Campbell of Southwestern allowed just one goal in 180 minutes of action last weekend to help lead the Pirates to a 2-0 record in a pair of SCAC contests. Campbell opened the week with seven saves in a 5-1 win over St. Thomas before posting her third shutout of the season with three saves in a 2-0 win over Centenary. In total, Campbell made 10 saves and posted a 0.50 goals-against average on the week. First-year defender Klarissa Martinez of Texas Lutheran was a lock down defender all weekend long, lifting the Bulldogs to a 2-0 week with SCAC wins over Centenary and St. Thomas on the road and allowing just one goal. Martinez also pitched in offensively, scoring her third goal of the season in a 2-0 win over Centenary. Junior goalkeeper Audrey Rivera of Schreiner pitched a pair of shutouts last weekend as the Mountaineers posted a 1-0-1 mark with a draw against Dallas on Friday and a 1-0 win over Austin College on Sunday. Schreiner has run its recent unbeaten streak in SCAC play to four games, the longest such streak since 2017.
