Other outstanding performances in the SCAC:
Senior Julissa Rodriguez of Texas Lutheran won the hammer, finished second in the discus and javelin and was sixth in the shot put at the Southwestern/CenTex Invite. Her throw of 44.50 meters (146') in the hammer is fourth nationally, her throw of 36.14 meters (118' 7") in the discus is seventh, and her throw of 32.53 meters (106' 9") in the javelin is 13th nationally. First-year Jaycee Green of Southwestern won the shot put with a throw of 11.89 meters, and finished in third place in the hammer with a throw of 40.18 meters at the Southwestern/CenTex Invitational. First-year Maya Prochnow of Dallas, in her very first competition as a triple jumper, jumped 9.15 meters and placed eighth among the competitors at the Southwestern/CenTex Invitational.
