JOSH FRY OF COLORADO COLLEGE, a senior from Bethesda, Md., has been selected the SCAC Men’s Track Athlete of the Week for meets held from Monday, March 7 through Sunday, March 13. (SCAC Track & Field Weekly Release - Week 2)
Fry finished in second place in the 1500 at the Oxy Distance Classic and Spring Break Classic. His time of 3:49.87 was a personal best and broke his previous school record. His time is currently ranked first in the country, and would have been seventh on the final national list in 2021.
Other outstanding performances in the SCAC:
First-year Gabriel Aragon of Centenary had the Gents' top finish at the Hendrix College Alumni Open on Saturday by placing seventh in the men's 100-meter dash with a time of 12.05. Sophomore Uniikye Washington of Dallas, running in his first collegiate meet, participated in the 100 meters and finished with a time of 11.66 competing against NAIA and NCAA D1 programs.
