NATALIE SLADE OF COLORADO COLLEGE, a junior goalkeeper from Concord, Mass., has been named the SCAC Women’s Lacrosse Defensive Player-of-the-Week for games played from Monday, February 21 through Sunday, February 27. (Women's Lacrosse Weekly Release - Week 2)
Slade recorded an 8.95 goals-against average and a .550 saves percentage to help Colorado College post a 1-1 record last weekend against a pair of 2021 NCAA Tournament Teams. Slade made a career-high 18 saves in Friday's 11-10 overtime loss at Rhodes College in the season opener. It marked her third career game with double-digit saves. Three of her saves were on free-position shots, including one with one second remaining in regulation to send the game to overtime. During Saturday's 21-7 victory over Illinois Wesleyan, Slade finished with four saves.
