KEY MACFARLAND OF COLORADO COLLEGE, a senior from Albuquerque, NM., has been selected the SCAC Women’s Swimmer of the Week for performances during meets swam Monday, January 17 to Sunday, January 23. SCAC Swimming & Diving Release (Week 9)
Macfarland posted a strong performance last weekend for the Tigers at the CC Classic Invitational, securing one first-place finish and a tri of second place finishes to lead CC to an overall team victory. She hit the wall first in the 400-yard IM, hitting the wall in a winning time of 4:55.02 and took home second in the 1,650-yard free (18:11.79), the 200-yard fly (2:16.34) and the 500-yard free (5:37.13).
