BRANT BILLINGSLEY OF COLORADO COLLEGE, a junior attacker from Doylestown, Pa., has been named the SCAC Men’s Lacrosse Offensive Player-of-the-Week for games played from Monday, March 22 through Sunday, March 28.
Billingsley struck for seven goals and recorded eight assists to help Colorado College post three conference victories at Washburn Field. Billingsley recorded what then was a career highs of three goals and five points during Friday's 25-1 victory over Centenary. He also picked up two ground balls and caused a turnover. Two days later in his first career start, Billingsley set career highs with four goals, six assists and 10 points in the 29-6 win over the Gents. He picked up a pair of ground balls in that game as well.
During the three games, Billingsley did not commit a turnover. He now second on the team with 12 assists, third with 20 points and tied for sixth with eight goals.
Other outstanding performances in the SCAC:
Junior midfielder Jack Doloszycki of Southwestern scored two goals in the Pirates' 16-5 loss at Colorado College. Sophomore attacker John Mark Waniewski of Centenary had two goals and one assist in two matches against Colorado College over the weekend.
