JACK HUSSIN OF COLORADO COLLEGE, a sophomore from Phoenixville, Pa., has been selected the SCAC Men’s Swimmer of the Week for performances during the meets swam Friday, December 2 to Saturday, December 3. SCAC Swimming & Diving Release (Week 7)
Hussin had three runner-up finishes in CC's dual meet against Division II Colorado School of Mines. He posted individual second-place finishes in the 200 free (1:46.27) and the 100 free (47.95), and he split 21.68 to anchor the 200 free relay.
Other Outstanding Performances in the SCAC:
First-year JonAustin Blaine of Austin College had a strong meet against McMurry as a part of three first-place finishes, including a pair of individual wins. He was part of Austin College's winning 200 medley relay team, and added individual wins in the 100 and 200 backstroke events with times of 59.81 and 2:15.19, respectively. Sophomore Caleb Bush of McMurry was apart of three victories in the War Hawks' duel meet victory at Austin College. Bush took individual gold in both the 100 breast (1:03.79) and 200 breast (2:19.45) and contributed to the winning 200 free relay team with a 24.49 leg.
