SUWANEE, Ga. -- The 2023-24 Academic All-District® Men’s Track & Field/Cross Country Team was selected on Tuesday by the College Sports Communicators (CSC) and Southern Collegiate Athletic Conference men’s track & field/cross country programs combined for 14 selections.
Colorado College and Trinity University led all SCAC squads with five honorees, followed by Texas Lutheran University with two and Centenary College and Southwestern University with one Academic All-District® nod each.
The 2023-24 Academic All-District® Men's and Women's Track & Field teams, selected by College Sports Communicators, recognize the nation's top student-athletes for their combined performances on the track, in the field, and in the classroom. The CSC Academic All-America® program separately recognizes men's track & field honorees in four divisions — NCAA Division I, NCAA Division II, NCAA Division III and NAIA.
Academic All-District® honorees were considered for advancement to the CSC Academic All-America® ballot. Student-athletes selected as CSC Academic All-America® finalists are denoted with an asterisk and will advance to the national ballot to be voted on by CSC members, who vote in their division. The voting started at Noon ET on June 18 and runs through Tuesday, June 25 at 11:59 pm ET.
The Men's Track and Field/XC first-, second- and third-team Academic All-America® honorees will be announced one day later on July 10.
