ZOE TOMLINSON OF COLORADO COLLEGE, a senior center from New York, N.Y., has been named the SCAC Women’s Basketball Player-of-the-Week for games played from Monday, January 29 through Sunday, February 4. SCAC Women's Basketball Release (Week 13)

Tomlinson had a dominant weekend for the Tigers in a pair of SCAC wins at home. Tomlinson paced CC in both scoring and rebounds per game over the two games against Centenary and St. Thomas. For the week she averaged 18 points on 51.5 percent shooting, including a 24-point performance against Centenary on Friday, her second-highest scoring performance of the year. She then backed it up on the boards, grabbing 15.5 rebounds per game, including 19 on Friday. Historically, with her 31 total rebounds over the weekend, Tomlinson moved into 10th all-time in SCAC history with 824 career rebounds. She knabbed two more double-doubles over the weekend and is currently alone at the top of all of NCAA Division III with 18 double-doubles in 20 games played this season. Defensively, Tomlinson also racked up five blocks and a steal over the weekend.

Other Outstanding Performances in the SCAC:
Sophomore forward Kyra Stokes of Centenary had a monster game for the Ladies in their 61-59 overtime win over St. Thomas at home last Tuesday, helping them snap a 13-game losing streak. Stokes tied her career high with 19 points and added a career-high 15 rebounds. She scored in double figures for the seventh time this season and notched her third double-digit rebounding performance and first double-double. She played 41 minutes and was 5-10 from the floor and 9-10 at the FT line with four blocked shots and an assist. On Friday at Colorado College she played 25 minutes and scored eight points, grabbed seven rebounds, and had four steals, an assist, and a blocked shot. Junior guard Kailee Mulkey of Texas Lutheran led the Bulldogs to a 2-0 weekend averaging 12.5 points, 6.0 rebounds, and 2.5 steals per game in road wins at Austin College and Dallas. Mulkey connected on 61.1 percent from the field on the week and matched her career-high of five steals to go along with 16 points in a comeback win over the Crusaders.
