AIDEN LITTLE AND LUCAS PASTOR OF COLORADO COLLEGE, have been named the SCAC Men’s Doubles Team of the Week for matches played from Monday, April 17 through Sunday, April 23. SCAC Men's Tennis Weekly Report - Week 12
Little, a sophomore from Bradenton, Fla., and Pastor, a sophomore from Issaquah, Wash., won both their No. 3 doubles matches last weekend in California, helping CC to a 1-1 split. The duo defeated Cade Huffner and Jacob de la Paz of Cal Lutheran, 8-5, in the Tigers' 6-3 loss. The following day, they beat Josh Blinder and Cal Hegstrom, 8-6, helping the Tigers win the match over 36th-ranked Chapman, 5-4, the team's first victory over a nationally-ranked team in more than 10 years. Little and Pastor are 5-2 at the No. 3 spot this season.
Other Outstanding Performances in the SCAC:
Senior Austin Lee and senior Allen Song of Trinity led No. 8 Trinity men's tennis to a 9-0 shutout over Schreiner University in the regular season finale on Saturday. The two Tigers celebrated Senior Day by winning an 8-2 decision at line three to get the shutout started for the team, chalking up just the second win of the year for the doubles duo.
