WYATT WELLEHAN OF COLORADO COLLEGE, a sophomore from Winnetka, Ill., has been selected the SCAC Men’s Diver of the Week for performances the week of Monday, October 9 to Sunday, October 15. SCAC Swimming & Diving Release (Week 2)
Wellehan had a successful weekend placing first on the 3 meter board (342 points) and second on the 1 meter board (312.85), contributing to a tightly contested team victory over Trinity on Friday evening. On Saturday, Wellehan placed first in the optional event on the 1 meter and second on the voluntary event against Southwestern. He achieved NCAA qualifying scores on both boards.
Other Outstanding Performances in the SCAC:
Junior Max Rolla-Mullis of Trinity was the Tigers' top finisher in a dual meet against Colorado College. He was third on both boards with a six dive score of 239.05 on 3-meter and a score of 214.70 on the 1-meter board.
