HOW IT HAPPENED
- After surrendering a quick goal to Southwestern, Colorado College responded with a pair of goals from Bella Beattie at the 27:03 and 26:08 marks of the first half to give the Tigers a 2-1 lead.
- Beattie's third goal of the first half gave the Tigers a 7-2 lead with 8:08 to play in the first half. Colorado College then finished the half on a 6-0 run to take a 13-2 halftime lead.
- Two early second half goals from Southwestern's Emma Pertuit cut the lead to 13-4 before Colorado College ended any Pirate comeback bid.
- Six Tigers tallied mult-goal games including Beattie and Delia Freliech who each recorded four goals.
- Colorado College held a 46-27 edge in shots as well as a 28-20 margin in ground balls.
