Meister rallied to defeat Kristen Thomas of Division II Colorado Mesa, 3-6, 6-3, 7-5, at the No. 5 singles position last Saturday. It was Meister's first win of the season at the No. 5 slot. Conversely, Mesa's Thomas had entered the match having won four of her last five and was 11-7 on the season.
Other Outstanding Performances in the SCAC:
Sophomore Lauren Chisholm of Southwestern won her number four singles spot against Concordia (Tex.) on Wednesday by a margin of 6-0, 6-1. Producing one of the more dominant performances in a singles spot on the day for the Pirates, Chisholm helped her team advance to 15-3 on the season and win the match 8-1.
