MAC O'BRIEN OF COLORADO COLLEGE, a junior from Omaha, Neb., has been selected the SCAC Men’s Diver of the Week for performances during meets swam Monday, January 10 to Sunday, January 16. SCAC Swimming & Diving Release (Week 8)
O'Brien won the 1-meter competition in 246.23 in Colorado College's win over Adams State University, and was a close second to teammate Aidan Richter with 233.63 in the 3-meter competition.
Other Outstanding Performances in the SCAC:
Junior Michael Vargas of University of the Ozarks placed second in both one meter events during the dual with Hendrix College with 114.25 and 111.30 points, respectively. At the Austin College invite, Vargas placed first on both the one-mter and three-meter boards, scoring 134.45 and 126 points, respectively. to help lead the Eagles to a meet victory.
