SUWANEE, Ga. – Colorado College junior center Zoe Tomlinson was named to the D3hoops.com Team of the Week for the week of December 31st, it was announced by D3hoops.com.

Tomlinson continues to be one of the most dominant and consistent players in the SCAC. The New York native led CC to another set of wins on the road to close out 2023 at St. Thomas and Centenary. She averaged 19 rebounds and 18 points per game, including a season-high 20 boards against St. Thomas, just one shy of her career-high. She scored 23 points against Centenary, the third time this season she has had 20 points or more in a game. For the week, Tomlinson connected on 48.4 percent of her shots and added 2.5 assists and 2.0 blocks per game to lift the Tigers to a 3-1 mark in SCAC play.

On the season, Tomlinson is currently first in the SCAC averaging 13.1 rebounds per game and fourth in the league with 16.2 points per contest. Her efforts have help lift the Tigers to nine wins through their first 13 games for the first time since the 2008-09 season.

Tomlinson is the third different SCAC women’s student athlete to earn D3hoops.com National TOTW recognition joining Trinity’s Natalie Anderson who has been honored twice back in week one and week six, along with Texas Lutheran’s Lauren Sansano who also earned the accolade in week six. Tomlinson is the first CC women’s basketball player to be honored on the National TOTW since Audrey Bayston was recognized in week 11 of the 2022-23 season.

The D3hoops.com Team of the Week recognizes five players -- two backcourt and three frontcourt players -- each week. To see the full D3hoops.com Team of the Week, click here.
