CONOR KACZMARCZYK AND ETHAN FLORES OF TRINITY UNIVERSITY, have been named the SCAC Men’s Doubles Team of the Week for matches played from Monday, March 10 through Sunday, March 16. It is the second consecutive week the duo have earned the honor. SCAC Men's Tennis Weekly Report - Week 7
Kaczmarczyk, a junior from Aurora, Colo., and Flores, a sophomore from Houston, Texas, led the 11th-ranked Tigers to a 1-2 record last week, with both losses coming against D-I Texas A&M-Corpus Christi. The Tiger doubles duo went 2-1 in doubles play this week, beginning with a line three 6-2 win against Occidental that clinched the doubles point for Trinity. The Tigers went on to sweep the doubles matches in the 7-0 win. Kaczmarczyk and Flores lost the first meeting with A&M-Corpus 7-5, but then bounced back later in the day to score a 7-6 (8-6) win over the D-I opposition.
Other Outstanding Performances in the SCAC:
First-year Vincent Risoldi and graduate student Adrian Munguia of Concordia (Texas) were dominant on line one of doubles play in their lone match of the week as the duo defeated Ace Andres and Dhruv Verma of Occidental to help the Tornados earn the doubles point.
