Samples shares this week's honor with Maddy Rohrer, McMurry University.
Samples won both the 50 back (28.57) and the 100 IM (1:04.27) in Friday's dual meet victory at McMurry. Her 50 fly split in the 200 medley relay was a 28.1.
Other Outstanding Performances in the SCAC:
Junior Maddy Rohrer of McMurry was a double event winner for the War Hawk women this past weekend against Southwestern, winning the 50 free and 50 breaststroke events. Her 50 free time (25.80) was just off her season-best from the Trinity Invite in November and her 50 breast was her best time (34.36) this season.
