Sanderson was instrumental in the Pirates' 2-1 win over Trinity. The senior team captain broke up several Trinity opportunities, made a defensive save, and delivered both goals on free kicks as the Pirates snapped Trinity's 133-match regular season conference win streak. The last regular season conference match the Tigers had lost was on November 7, 2008 (1-0) at Centre College.
Senior defender May Lien Le of Dallas was a rock in the back for the Crusaders against MUW on Sunday, helping the team notch its sixth clean sheet of the season and fourth straight win. Junior defender Bailey Meyer of Trinity helped the Tigers to a 4-0 shutout win over TLU on Friday and stepped up to make some really big stops on Sunday in the team's 2-1 loss to Southwestern. First-year defender Kourtney Rosales of Schreiner started in both matches for the Mountaineers this past weekend, including Sunday's tough 2-1 loss to Texas Lutheran.
