TRAVIS HARVEY OF SOUTHWESTERN UNIVERSITY, a sophomore left-handed pitcher from Cedar Park, Texas, has been named the SCAC Baseball Pitcher of the Week for games played from Monday, March 22 through Sunday, March 28.
Harvey had his second straight dominant pitching performance, throwing a complete-game shutout in the Pirates' 10-run victory in seven innings over Dallas on Saturday. Harvey allowed only three Crusaders to reach, limiting Dallas to just one hit and two walks while striking out eight.
His 0.95 ERA and 14.68 strikeouts per nine innings both lead the SCAC.

Sophomore right-hander Parker Primeaux of Centenary appearned in three games for the Gents out of the bullpen, working 6.2 innings while allowing just three runs and six hits with one walk and seven strikeouts. He recorded two saves in the series sweep of Schreiner and now leads the conference with six on the season. First-year right-hander Harrison Durow of Trinity led the top-ranked Tigers to a 4-0 week that included a three-game weekend sweep in SCAC play against St. Thomas. Durow appeared in three of the four games, posting an ERA of 1.59 and recorded a pair of saves against the Celts over the weekend. He finished off the wins in the first and third games of the series, including striking out the side in the ninth of the series finale. Durow finished with 10 strikeouts and allowed just four hits. Junior right-hander Joe Burch of Texas Lutheran notched a conference win against Austin College and had two innings of scoreless relief against regional rival Concordia (Texas). Burch struck out nine in nine innings of total work and allowed only two runs, for an ERA of 2.00. He allowed just five hits and walked four in the nine innings on the mound. Sophomore left-hander Colby Fuller of Dallas logged 4.2 innings in back-to-back appearances on Saturday against Southwestern. The southpaw allowed four hits, two runs (one earned) while striking out one and walking none.
