HUDSON BEARDEN OF SOUTHWESTERN UNIVERSITY, a junior face-off specialist from Aledo, Texas, has been named the SCAC Men’s Lacrosse Defensive Player of the Week for games played from Monday, April 5 through Sunday, April 11.
Bearden set school records with 36 face-off wins (36-for-36) and 28 ground balls, as Southwestern cruised to a 30-2 victory over Dallas in SCAC action last week. Both marks are the most in a game by any player in Division III this season.
