Other outstanding performances in the SCAC:
Freshman forward Taylor Merritt of Schreiner scored a goal in her collegiate debut for the Mountaineers and finished with two total shots on the week. First-year midfielder Michaela Bosco of Trinity tallied three points in her collegiate debut. Bosco scored her first collegiate goal in the 41st minute of the McMurry match and later assisted on a goal to give the Tigers a 3-0 win over the Warhawks. Though Bosco did not score a goal in the second match of the weekend she made her presence felt on offense with three shots. Bosco also displayed great ball movement which created offensive opportunities for her teammates.
